About the educator

Amanda Hawtree-Taft qualified as a nail technician in 2013 and began educating for Crystal Nails just 12 months later as an international educator in nail art and gel.

After successfully completing extensive training, Amanda secured the title of Absolute Master International Educator in 2017, which covered all nail art techniques, as well as Russian manicure and all extreme shape enhancements. She later became an assessor for Crystal Nails educators.

Competitions have played a key part in Amanda’s career, as a competitor she placed 1st in the Nail Art category at Professional Beauty in 2017 and was a Scratch stars finalist in 2017 and 2018, she has also appeared as a judge at the Scratch Stars competition 3 times.

Amanda is passionate about continuing her professional development and has trained with some of the most well-respected international educators throughout Europe. She has also been an invited guest educator for numerous classes across the UK and Europe.

Amanda specializes in all types of technical, intricate nail art and is highly proficient in all types of nail enhancements using all systems.

We feel so privileged to have Amanda heading up our Moyra UK education team. Amanda’s region will cover the home counties (south east), including London.
